Thirteen, thirteen foot tall black steel soldiers stand at attention, bayonets drawn. The soldiers point to the center of the Warriors Walk Medicine Wheel. The soldiers point at the Eternal Flame of our Navajo Nation. As the sun rises its light streams through the great hole of Window Rock where First Man and Woman entered this world. The shadows of the tall warriors are cast across the red sand of our land. The shadows point West to Yesterday retreating and march across the Day. In the middle of the day the shadows point North where all people will pass into Another Tomorrow. Then as the sun finally sets, the shadows reverse and dance back across the rock before they die into the night. A sandstone house is on the West where we sit to watch our warriors point the way of the Dine, The Navajo People.
